The Council for At-Risk Academics (Cara) has launched a Palestine Virtual Fellowship Programme, offering 14 one-year research fellowships to Palestinian academics based in Gaza and the West Bank.
The programme will connect Palestinian academics with UK peers, academic networks, and research resources at 7 partner universities in the UK. Each selected fellow will receive a £6,000 stipend, with an additional £2,000 supplement for fellows residing in Gaza, as well as research engagement funds.
The call is open to academics holding a PhD who are affiliated with a Palestinian university and meet the programme’s eligibility and at-risk assessment criteria. Female applicants are particularly encouraged to apply.
